I came back from Japan yesterday and almost all I did until now was sleep. Right now I am in a Cafe (because of my internet connection at home -.-') with my Laptop and Jennifer ^^ While thinking about what to write I keep eating Bingsoo and watching Dance-Videos with Jennifer. and I still have no idea (after about 10 minutes) ^^
Well, just start where my Japan trip started. At 8:30 in the morning we, the exchange students met at the port... an hour later the second worst three hours of the trip started.... We took a boat to go to Japan... and Maria gets seasick... woop woop why the second worst? Because going back was really horrible. I did not throw up but I felt like I would..
So when we arrived in Japan we got on a bus with Koreans and a Korean tourguide, who liked to tlak nonstop about things that were not really related to our trip. After only having a little bit of water on the boat I was really thirsty and not really knowing what our trip will be like, I did not take money with me. Our first stop was somewhere in the mountains, try finding an ATM there ^^. I think I have become too used to living in a big city where I can get what I need/ want everywhere, so I don't take things like water with me.
Then we came to a natural spring, where I could finally drink something. Fresh water ^^ or something like that. (I miss Austrian water... ^^) After that we went to Aso Farm, the resort that we stayed at. After eating we went to the spa. As always you use those naked ^^ It was nice to bath in the hot water, there was even water outside. Then we went back to our 'iglo' to get our phones and use the WIFI in the lobby for a bit. (like real Koreans. ^^) Around midnight all the exchange students got together and we bonded a little while playing games and talking a lot. Some of us did not sleep at all, I did. You have to understand that I love sleeping ^^
In the morning we left the resort at 8:20 in the morning. Tired me fell asleep as soon as we got on the bus. When I woke up we were up a mountain again. next to a vulcano. The first time that I have seen a vulcano and it was a lot less impressive than I thought it would be ^^ but still kind of cute.
Then we went to hot springs, bathing in caves without any clothes on ^^ I like Japan in this aspect a lot ^^ We had icecream and japaneese food, got our first money and spent it on water ^^ I broke my fingernails, and we had more time on the bus before visiting a shopping centre and going to our new hotel.. the Hilton hotel of Fukuoka, I understand why a trpi to Japan is expensive when we stay at hotels like that.. I would be fine with cheaper places... but it was nice to stay at a hotel like that for a bit.. we did more bathing, made friends in the sauna (from Jeju, an Island in Korea). And since there was no wifi in the rooms, Japan is not Korea :(, we hung out in the lobby using wifi, talking to our new friend and being invited to come to Jeju to play ^^ (maybe in a few years I will do that, my exchange program does not allow me to travel alone :( ) Breakfast was nice ^^ I got real bread~~ nom nom nom~~
Early in the morning we were on the bus again, going to visit more places. Including the Fukuoka Tower (that we never went up) a huge buddha staute and a temple, where we ate. All in all we visited very touristic places with people that spoke english or korean to us.. I hardly heard any japanese or saw japanese people... A weird trip for me, but not for Koreans, because this is how they tour through Europe, with just one day in Austria (either Salzburg or Vienna) and a non stop talking tourguide telling you all the sterotypes, that you have heard before, and comparing it to the korean sterotypes ^^
But my korean got a lot better, over the last 5 and a half months that I have been in Korea not in Japan. ^^ When I was listening to the guide I was able to understand a whole lot more than I wanted to. To tell you more about my life, I have a slight addiction to green tea ^^ It is no longer just greentea-bingsoo and a greentea every once in a while... I drink green tea everyday.. mostly not just one cup ^^ I still eat Bingsoo and Greentea icecream and in Japan I bought greentea candy, chocolate and ricecake filled with greenteapaste... ^^ even right now I am drinking greentea latte ^^
I know it's a lot but I can't help it it is just too good~~
bye bye~~
