No WIFI in South Korea?!

Well, hello :)

So as I told you my new host familie's WIFI sucks. Turns out it was not even theirs and the neighbours, whose WIFI it was, changed theirs to a password protected one. So i thought i might not have internet connection in my house at all. Fearing that I tried to find WIFI in my room with my computer and guess who found another free WIFI source? Meeeee! It is a bad connection and I can't connect to it with my phone and from time to time it disappears... But still better than nothing :)
When I had no WIFI I realized how much I rely on having it. Without an internet connection I can't contact my friends, because I only have their Kakaotalk, which is an app that Koreans use to chat, send pictures and call their friends. I also need it to comunicate properly in Korean, translating mostly. Also the internet is the only way to contact my family and friends at home. Knowing that you can't makes you want to contact them more ^^ So I really missed home for about a day.

So one thing I can't do at home now... Is skyping and uploading pictures will take a looong time. But next week I will go to a cafe and show you pictures.. I guess ^^ Because our next trip is up soon. 3 DAYS JAPAN!! Woop Woop! Only 3 days?! Yep... I know.. short.. But at least a little, right? :D

So again only a short update.. and I am sorry for not answering any Emails or anything.. My WIFI is not good enough to load them xD yeey!! I can read them on the subway, but answering is a thing that is not really possible... ^^
Sorry Mama :)

love Maria

  1. Just no wifi or no internet access at all? In the first case I could sponsor a wifi router, we could manage that :-)
