Kimchi, Taejongdae, Nampodong, Temple

Hello!!

Sooo :) Are you all doing fine? Leave me a comment saying how you are :) I hardly ever hear from you :) and I am updating my blog almost every week. So give me a little love back, okay? :D

This week I made Kimchi with my family. I have no pictures, but basically all we, my mother, me, 2 of my aunts and my grandmother, coated chinese cabbage with a spicy pate that my mom made the day before. We made a lot. Really a lot :) I am slow at making kimchi, but my mother is really fast for one cabbage she needs about 3 minutes and we worked for about 4 hours. So yes we made a lot. It was fun and easier than I thought :) I hope it was not my first and my last 'Kimjang'.

I also had classes, was at the English-Talk and never went straight home after school. If you wonder why? I went out to eat or drink coffee/ bubble tea with friends (mostly with Jennifer) ^^

On the Weekend I finally went to Taejongdae. I wanted to go there ever since a friend has showed me pictures :) and it is even prettier than I imagined. On a very clear day you can see some japanese Islands. I saw none, but it was still pretty and worth going :) Since Words can't really describe beauty I will show you a bunch of pictures :) I forgot my camera, but Jennifer's phone is okay too :) If I go again, which I want, I will make sure not to forget my camera :)

After Taejongdae we went to Nampodong and even if I had not known before I'd know by now that Christmas is close. The main street of the Nampodong shopping area is decorated with lights, Christmas songs are playing :) and it is packed with people.

Not only in Nampodong is Christmas, Gong Cha (a taiwanese Bubble Tea Shop) and other Shops in Seomyeon or anywhere in Busan have christmas decoration... :)

Today I went with Jennifer's host family to a Temple, Tongdosa, It was pretty and we bowed a bit, took a lot of pictures and threw coins in water. :)
After the last bowing sektion, 18 full body bows, I felt really relaxed and calm. Jennifer's host father explained that Koreans do this to stop thinking a little. You are not supposed to think while you are bowing and even though I did not know this, I did not think :) and it really worked. i have not felt this calm in a while.

Next week on Saturday I will finally know when and where I will move to.
So this is it for this week :) See you again :) very soon
:)
