Hello Again!!
So now my first trip to Seoul ^^ WAA! Seoul is huge!! really huge xD
I was just one day really in the city, but I saw a looot ^^ (as you might be able to tell I am in a good mood today ^^ I just had fun thihihi) and my first impression when I woke up in the bus was impressive! The Picture can not show what I saw... It was really really pretty
But let's start at the beginning, shall we? So on Monday at 5:50 in the morning we met at school. Too early for the subway, so my hostmother had to drive me there. We were supposed to leave at six but we waited until 6:45 for 1 girl who was late. ^^ Out of about 130 people xD After driving for a while we arrived at a army univerity or something like that. We took pictures, watched a movie about the school and walked through the school museum. Then we left again. Our next stop was a cafeteria where we got food. Then we visited some kind of fortress or something (I don't know what it was.. we hardly had any time there) Again taking pictures walking around a little and leaving.. It was like that for every single stop we made. We mostly had about an hour to look around which was never enough... Then we visted a traditional village. It was beautiful, but filled with K-drama Posters because they were filmed there. We happened to see a szcene being filmed. I have no idea for which drama, but it was nice to see that this really happenes there. Something that was a little disturbing was the shop for k-pop fans, where you could buy everything from cd's to Super Junior socks. If it hadn't been in a place like this I might have bought something, but it just felt kind of wrong..
In the village I wrote my wish on a piece of paper and tied it to a rope, which will be burnt on New Year's Eve, so it can go to heaven and be fullfilled. I saw a lot of dreams on the rope. It seemed like a thing to do. ^^ The traditional village was the last stop for that day. so now pictures ^^
Second day was Seoul day ^^ So I was impressed from the first second. We have been to the richest areas in Seoul. And to a lot of the tourist attractions. And you see Seoul different when you just visit it than when you live there. I saw parts of Seoul that looked just like Busan but still it was more exciting and prettier, even though it was just the same. The places we visited was the palace, KBS-studios, Gangnam (Samsung building) and Insadong. In Insadong we also saw a play. It was great and even though it was in Korean I was able to follow the storyline. ^^ Which I am really happy about ^^ I understand a whole lot more Korean than I did when I first came here. ^^ But i still have a lot to learn...
SO pictures? Yeah Pictures ^^ If you want to know anything about the places I have visited... well I've just been there for about an hour and I can't really tell you anything about it.. sorry ^^ It was pretty ^^
What followed was a day in Everland, an amusement park. I would not have needed the whole day, i just wished I could have stayed longe at night ^^ becuase the light parade was beautiful, even though i only saw a few minutes ^^ And I liked the Halloween-themed decoration ^^
The next day was our last day, which meant just two stops on our way back home, a boat trip, where I felt seasick and slept the whole trip and once for food and a traditional village
Rest of this (now already last) week will follow..
Maria
