So we went traveling with Rotary. Finally :) It was something that our little group of exchange students really needed. I feel like we are all closer to each other after this short trip. (I can't wait for my school trip ^^)
Our first destination was Goseong. Or more precisely to the first dinosaur museum in Sothkorea. It opened in 2004 so there might be another one by now, but I have no idea ^^. We had a 2 hour drive and when we arrived everyone was starting to feel hungry. So we had just 1 hour to look around the museum, which is not enough and you were not allowed to take pictures inside. However, here are a few pictures ^-^ from outside.
Then we went to eat. It was meh.. not really good but okayish ^^
After another hour and a half in the car we arrived at the place where we would spend the night. In the middle of no where ^^ It was nice though. The surroundings looked a little bit hounted and mystic. The rain fitted perfectly. I would film a horror movie there ^^ I forgot to take my camera when we went to explore. So no pictures.. ^^
After resting for a bit, fighting over the only bed, cuddeling and changing clothes we headed out again to go to Jinju. Half an hour away. First food and then Lantern festival with fireworks. Loud and beautiful fireworks in the rain. It was very romantic and beautiful. Perfect for a date. Fun with foreing exchange students. So we watched the fireworks, then walked around a little to see the lanterns, but almost 2 hours are to little to see everything... it's too huge.
But we found something more interesting ^^ an empty stage with music playing from speakers. Being foreing and missing the feeling of standing on a stage, we got up there. Since there was music we started to dance. Before we even realised it we had attracted a little crowd and the DJ suddenly started to announce us ^^ We danced for about half an hour, Pia joined us and so did a few korean girls ^^ Connor filmed it, sooo maybe there will be a video soon ^^ I will let you know :) But for now lantern pictures ^^
